Development Operations Intern:
The Development Operations Intern for the Northwest Region will support our Development Operations Specialist. They will help with major database management, fiscal year planning, and strategy. Development Special Events Intern:
The Northwest Region Special Events intern will have two main projects within their nine week study. They will work on creating the online platform through CVENT to sign up for our Snohomish (biggest) heroes’ event and they will also assist in interviewing and writing about nominated heroes for our Snohomish heroes’ event. By working on the online platform CVENT our Special Events student will learn how to navigate CVENT as well as gain an understanding of how to organize, recruit, and coordinate an 800 person event on the back end. By interviewing and writing about nominated heroes our Special Events intern will learn how to represent a large organization, communicate with individuals from all backgrounds, and then translate their interview into a compelling story. On top of these two main projects our Special Events student will also be a part of Snohomish Heroes event monthly calls and brainstorm meetings to gain valuable experience being in a work environment and contributing ideas. Development Foundations Intern:
The Foundations intern will have two main projects throughout their nine week program. They will work on researching potential grants that the Northwest Region development team can pursue as well as work on writing grant proposal drafts. On top of these two main projects the Foundations student will attend the meetings that pertain to foundations and participate in calls that occur around the region within the development team for internal foundations updates.
