What do the Harlem Globetrotters and the American Red Cross have in common?

They both want to help communities prepare and respond to local disasters. This is why the American Red Cross and Harlem Globetrotters have teamed up. As part of a two-year partnership, we’ve joined forces with the Harlem Globetrotters as their “official charity” to support their Great Assist initiative.

Every year, communities across America experience disasters big and small. The Red Cross volunteers respond to nearly 66,000 annually. To advance the Red Cross mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies, Harlem Globetrotters is helping mobilize the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. We are thrilled that through this partnership and The Great Assist initiative, we can reach more communities at risk for disaster.
